Jayne Denham is an artist who continues to surprise fans with each new release and, as an energetic and entertaining performer, wins over fans at her live shows in truckloads.
The Australian country singer-songwriter has a passion for the transport community. Growing up around trucks and big rigs, Jayne is passionate about creating more recognition for the trucking industry and its importance to the community through her songs, like her #1 Australian country single, ‘Addicted to the Diesel’.

Her new album, Calamity, continues this tradition with tracks including the first single, Stacks, co-written with Phil Barton and ACM nominated songwriter Brian White who also produced the album. The album is Jayne’s fourth and was recorded at Jay DeMarcus’ (from Rascal Flatts) studio in Nashville. Jay also played bass on the album. Her first single, Stacks has reached #4 on Country Tracks Top 40 and the video is currently in the top 20’s on CMC.

As well as Stacks, Calamity features a mix of country rock with ‘Stacks’, ‘Calamity’ and ‘Highway Rock Star’, and ballads like ‘Fear of Flying’ and ‘Black Coffee & White Lines’.  Calamity is set for release in March  2018.
“While writing for my next record in Nashville, my producer, Brian White and I were brainstorming ideas about trucking songs,” Jayne said.
“He mentioned the title ‘Stacks’ which immediately took me back to my childhood. I remember as a kid going to truck races and seeing all those blinged-up rigs screaming around the track. One of my favourite parts of the day was when the drivers would put the pedal to the metal and you would hear this loud roar and see smoke come from those 11 feet of galvanized chrome stacks.”
Signed to management in the U.S. with Stacey Willbur, Jayne spent last year writing songs in the U.S. for her latest release. Her high-octane performances have seen her invited to perform at shows in the States, including  the  Mid-American  Trucking  Show  in  Louisville, KY and the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas,  Texas  where  she  had  the  opportunity  to  sing  to  the  Women in Trucking Community, Red Eye  Radio, WSM and Diesel Spec.

In  2018,  Jayne  is  also  in  demand  in  her  homeland,  with  performances  at  the  Toyota  Country  Music  Festival, Tamworth, CMC Rocks Queensland, touring with Toyota Starmaker Grand Finalist Jake Sinclair and at the Mid-American Trucking Show in Louisville, KY again at the end of March and next year she will perform on Cruisin’ Country 9.
With her ability to tell a story that captures the imagination through her songs, Jayne has scored three #1 smash hits in Australia, six Top 10 songs in the Country Tracks Top 40, 13 videos that have reached the Top 30 as well as six Country Music Channel (CMC) and two CMAA Golden Guitar Award finalist placings.
Jayne has entertained the VIP crowd at Keith Urban’s Sydney shows and has been a featured performer at all major Australian country music festivals including CMC Rocks, Deni Ute Muster, Gympie Music Muster, Tamworth Country Music Festival, PBR Rodeos, ute musters, B&S balls and truck shows. Jayne released two independent albums ‘Sudden Change in Weather’ (2008) and ‘Shake This Town’ (2010). The single ‘Chick Ute’ from the debut album ‘Sudden Change in Weather’ charted at #2 in Europe and Norway, #4 in Italy,  #5  in  the  Netherlands  and  Denmark  and #12 on the European Country Music Association Chart.  Soon after the release of ‘Sudden Change in Weather’, she won the Australian Independent Country Music Award for Best Rising Star.
Jayne’s strong connection to the trucking industry and the important services it provides to the world have earned her sponsorship from companies including Wickham Freight Lines, Scuzztrans Transport, and, most recently, Lawrence Livestock Transport.
